Ingredients

250g wheat flour
1 sachet baking powder 11g
30g ground almonds
70g sugar
60g vegetable/rapeseed oil
200ml plant based milk
2 eggs
1 orange
20cl whipping cream
Chocolate Easter eggs

Steps

Start by cutting an orange into slices and place the slices at the bottom of a round cake tin.

Mix the flour, sugar, yeast and ground almonds in a bowl. Then add the oil and eggs and mix well to avoid lumps. Finally add the milk gradually to create a tacky dough.

Pour the batter into the tin over the orange slices.

Fill the water tank for steaming.

Place the tin in the oven on Steam 1 setting for 25 minutes.

Take the cake out of the oven and flip it upside down so the orange slices will be on the top.

Decorate with unsweetened or slightly sweetened whipped cream (optional) and the Easter eggs.
