Steps
1
For the dough: place all of the weighed ingredients into the bread pan of your breadmaker in order, starting with the dry yeast and finishing with the soft butter. Ensure to place the dry yeast away from the kneader and its axis to avoid the dough not rising correctly. Place the dry ingredients on top of the dry yeast and avoid it coming into contact with the liquid until mixing begins. |
2
Select the 'Bread Dough' Menu for Croustina and 'Basic' for all other breadmakers. Remove the dough when the machine beeps 8 times and 'End' flashes. |
3
Dust the work surface with flour and place the dough on it. Leave the dough to rest for one hour. |
4
Then roll the dough out into a rectangle and add the filling made from all the ingredients mixed together. Then roll the dough up into a sausage shape and cut into rolls with a sharp knife. |
5
6
Preheat your microwave oven to 170°C. |
7
When the dough has risen, brush it with the glaze made from the egg and milk mixture and bake for 40 minutes. |
8
In the meantime, prepare the icing by whisking all of the ingredients together. |
9
Once the lemon rolls are baked, remove the tin from the microwave oven. Spread the icing all over the freshly baked lemon rolls and sprinkle the lemon zest on top. Enjoy them while they're still warm! |
