Steps

Place flour, fine crystal sugar, salt, 30 g butter, yolk and milk into the baking pan. Fill dry yeast into the yeast dispenser. Press Start and knead all ingredients to a smooth dough. Then place into a bowl, cover with cling film and leave for 1 hour in a warm place. |

Meanwhile, stir remaining butter, cane sugar and gingerbread spice for the filling. |

Knead the dough on the lightly floured work space with the hands for a short time and divide into four parts. Shape each piece of dough into round pieces and then roll them out thinly with a rolling pin. Each dough should be slightly larger than a dinner plate. |

Place a food plate on top of the layered dough and cut along the edge with a small knife. Remove the dough edge and the plate. |

Place the Christmas Star Bread onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush with egg white. Bake in your Combi Microwave Oven at 180 °C for 20 minutes until it is golden brown. |
