Ingredients

12 gyoza wrappers available in Asian grocery stores
150g ground pork
1/2 spring onion
1 garlic clove
1 tsp freshly grated ginger
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
salt and pepper to taste

Steps

1

In a bowl, combine the ground pork, finely chopped spring onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper.

2

Mix well until the filling is smooth and evenly combined.

3

Take one gyoza wrapper and place about 1 teaspoon of filling in the center. Lightly moisten the edge of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and pinch the edges together to form the traditional gyoza pleats.

4

Now fill the lower part of your steamer with water and bring it to a boil. In the meantime, place the dumplings in the upper basket, spacing them slightly apart. Steam for about 10 minutes.

5

Serve your gyoza hot with a side of soy sauce.

Enjoy
