Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
500g lamb mince
1 small onion grated
2 garlic cloves finely chopped
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp chili flakes optional
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp chopped parsley or mint
olive oil for brushing
To serve:
tzatziki
fresh cherry tomatoes halved
basil pesto
flatbreads or warm pita (optional)

Steps

1

In a large bowl, combine the lamb mince with grated onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, chili flakes (if using), salt, pepper, and chopped herbs. Mix well until the mixture is sticky and holds together.

2

Divide into 8 equal portions and shape each into a sausage-like kofta. Chill for 10 minutes to firm up if needed.

3

Place the grill plate into the Panasonic Multi-Cooker and select BBQ mode. Allow it to preheat.

4

Lightly brush the koftas with olive oil and place them onto the hot grill plate. Cook for 3–4 minutes on each side, turning carefully until browned and cooked through.

5

Serve the koftas with a generous spoonful of tzatziki, halved cherry tomatoes, and a drizzle of basil pesto. Add warm flatbreads or pita on the side, if desired.

Enjoy
