A playful twist on a classic dessert — ripe bananas lightly charred on the grill and served with scoops of vanilla ice cream and crunchy flaked almond brittle.

Adjust Servings:
4 ripe but firm bananas peeled and halved lengthways
1 tbsp butter melted
1 tbsp brown sugar
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
50g flaked almond brittle crushed

Steps

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar. Brush the cut sides of the bananas with the mixture.

Attach the grill plate to the Panasonic Multi-Cooker. Press the BBQ button and press Start to preheat.

Place the bananas cut side down on the grill plate and cook for 4-5 minutes until lightly caramelised and golden. Carefully turn and grill the other side for 1-2 minutes.

Serve the warm grilled bananas with scoops of vanilla ice cream and a generous sprinkle of crushed flaked almond brittle.
