Directions
Mayak eggs, or “drug eggs,” are a popular Korean marinated egg dish, known for their rich, savoury, and slightly sweet flavour. These soft-boiled eggs are soaked in a soy-based marinade, making them a delicious topping for rice or a flavourful snack on their own.

Steps

Place the deep pot on the Panasonic Multi-Cooker, add 400ml water and add the steaming plate into the deep pot. Adjust the dial so that the steam icon flashes. Press the time button, then turn the dial to 8 minutes (00:08). Press Start and wait for the steam accessory to preheat. |

Carefully place the eggs in the steam basket and cook for 8 minutes. |

In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, chilies, green onion, and sesame seeds to make the marinade. |

Submerge the peeled eggs in the marinade, ensuring they are fully covered. |

Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight, for best flavour. |
