Hazelnut Bread with Buckwheat Recipe

Tasty crusty bread recipe with whole hazelnuts and buckwheat flour. Fits well with a cheese platter.

Ingredients

1 tsp dry yeast
250g soft regular pastry wheat flour
50g strong wheat flour
100g buckwheat flour
10g butter
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp sugar
300ml water
75g hazelnuts

NOTE: the recipe ingredient amounts are not suitable for the Mini Breadmaker SD-PN100

Steps

Add all ingredients except for the nuts into the pan of the breadmaker.
(First the yeast, the flour, the butter, the salt and then the sugar. Add the water at the end.)

Select programme number 2 on the Croustina breadmaker and press start.

When the breadmaker beeps, add the hazelnuts and press start.

Once the bread is done, take it out and let it cool down on a wire rack.

Tip: This bread fits perfectly to different kind of cheeses e.g. roquefort. You can also enjoy it with foie gras and salad.
